Making connections with new gym owners is the life of this company. We’re all about creating lasting relationships. Being able to connect with an owner and build that relationship is what will lead to building trust, challenges running, and new clients. Before you reach out to any owner, it’s important to do some research.
Answering these questions before meeting with an owner is extremely important in building that trust and connection.
Phoning a gym can be a great way to make a sale. However, getting the owner or manager of the gym interested in the first minutes of the phone call is crucial to your success.
If feasible, dropping in to a gym is a more effective way of not only engaging with gym owners but with the members as well.
Our BODZii Box Campaign targets gyms in an old school fashion. We send direct mail to gym in hopes to lead them onto our website, and then onto the phone.
The BODZii Box is a 8.5x11x4 inch white box with our logo printed on the top.
Inside the box:
Every box that is sent needs a receipt with a tracking code on it. Gym information along with tracking code is to be entered in the BODZii Box Sheet Here immediately after shipment.
Following up with gyms is just as important as the initial contact. Maybe even more important.
Every BODZii Box that is sent out will have a tracking number to it. Every box will also include a special landing page URL which will lead the gym owner to watch a video and book a call. Tracking visits to this page is another way we can see if the owner has engaged with our box, and our landing page.
1 - Send out box
2 - Track shipment and landing page activity for the next 24 hours
3 - Follow up with a phone call directly to the gym
In this phone call, state who you are, the reason why you’re calling, and right away ask them if they were able to watch our video online. If “yes”, follow up with asking them what they thought about the video and if they would like to go ahead and get started booking a challenge.
Ask the gym owner WHEN they would like to book a challenge, not IF they would like to book one.
