Michelle Lawson

Michelle participated in a variety of sports growing up including hockey, baseball, tennis, volleyball, pretty much anything she was able to play she would. She joined CrossFit in 2012 and fell in love with the sport, specifically for the amazing community and like minded people the sport attracted.Through CrossFit, she was introduced to eating “Paleo” which sparked curiosity and a passion for sport nutrition.

After being introduced to Bodzii through Crossfit 416’s General Manager, she joined the program herself.  Through Bodzii she was able to develop a healthier mindset around food and it further sparked her passion for learning about nutrition.

Michelle graduated from Recreation and Leisure Studies at Mohawk College and went on to pursue Physical Education at Brock University.  Her specific nutrition coaching certifications include Precision Nutrition L1.

Michelle is a wife and mom of a 6 year old, Dylan and has no problem getting 10k steps a day chasing this active little one around. Her favourite activities include hikes with her family, swimming and anything that you can do outside.

The Bodzii program and coaching were so personally impactful, she is excited to share the knowledge and experience she has gained to assist others in their journey.

Zeynep Emre Çam

About me: I have graduated from Nutrition & Dietetics in Turkey, Istanbul.

Completed accreditation program on nutrition and food. Now on my way to be a registered dietitian in Toronto, Canada.

Why I love being a dietitian:
The Human body and biology have always been my interest. Later on, I have figured out I am passionate on food and nutrition. After all, I found something in between them and decided to be professional on nutrition, food and dietetics field. Nutrition is biologically essential to continue one’s life. Beside that, it has impact on our social and mental wellbeing. From my experiences, I have found that individuals who are able to achieve long term sustainability on nutrition through habit building have the feeling of power and ability to control their life. I've been attending national and international webinars and conferences; continuously taking courses to stay up-to-date with the latest researches.

I like running , cycling , and weightlifting. I like every aspect of nutrition and health but if I have to chose one, I'd go with sports performance nutrition. That's why I really like to set small fitness goals with my clients for them and show how proper nutrition help to achieve this. Additionally, I  base my recommendations to academic researches and share it with the clients during nutrition counselling. This helps them not only achieving their goals but also knowing the "why" and making well-informed decisions inline with their goals .

Life is all about getting comfortable with being uncomfortable. Rather than hiding out in the comfort zone, challenge yourself and it's going to expand your comfort circle. That means you're doing something that others were unlikely to do.
